Education isn’t just about learning concepts—it’s about applying them. The modern workplace demands more than just theoretical knowledge; it requires hands-on skills and an understanding of how to solve problems effectively. GUVI’s College to Corporate (C2C) initiative at Audisankara University takes this challenge head-on by creating programs that prepare students for industry needs. Partnering with Audisankara University, GUVI conducted a series of virtual live sessions designed to teach practical coding, project-building, and industry-oriented problem-solving skills.

A Journey Through 19 Exclusive Sessions
This series of 19 live, exclusive project-based sessions, lasting from October 9 to November 2, 2024, gave participants an immersive and structured learning experience. Starting with foundational concepts such as Python programming, OOPs, and MySQL, the sessions advanced to cover modern frameworks like Flask and full-stack development. The sessions concluded with an impactful capstone project, where students applied their learning to real-world scenarios under expert guidance.
These weren’t your run-of-the-mill lectures. Each session was a carefully planned, interactive experience. Students explored concepts in depth, engaged in discussions, clarified doubts, and worked on mini-projects that led to the final project. By the end of the program, they had not just learned but had practiced applying their knowledge, gaining the confidence to tackle complex challenges.
Key Features That Set This Program Apart
- Holistic Learning Journey: The sessions were designed to take students from basic concepts to advanced topics, ensuring a seamless transition as their knowledge deepened. From coding fundamentals in Python to building a full-stack application, every topic was covered with practical relevance.
- Real-World Insights: Industry experts joined select sessions to share insights from their professional experiences, helping students understand how to align their learning with actual workplace requirements.
- Hands-On Capstone Project: The capstone project provided a platform for students to showcase their skills. Guided by industry experts, participants focused on perfecting their outputs and simulating the real-world project lifecycle.
- Interactive Format: Unlike one-way lectures, these sessions encouraged student interaction through Q&A segments, discussions, and collaborative problem-solving, making the learning process engaging and memorable.
The Outcomes: Building Skills That Matter
This program wasn’t just about coding—it was about building confidence, solving problems, and understanding how concepts translate into practical applications. By the end of the program, participants had gained:
- Hands-on experience in coding and project development.
- A deeper understanding of concepts like full-stack application building and database management.
- Real-world project experience that helped prepare them for academic and professional challenges.
One of the participants summed it up perfectly: “These sessions didn’t just teach us how to code—they showed us how to think like developers.”
Behind the Scene: The C2C Team
Behind every successful program is a dedicated team, and GUVI’s Calleges to Corporate initiative at Audisankara University was no exception. At the forefront were Banuprakash M, who leads the team, and Anandan Rajamanickam, who organized the sessions and ensured everything ran smoothly. Supporting them were Swathy Suriyababu, Arun Shukla, Rajib Kumar Lakra, and Athulya Pradeep, who managed coordination, content, and behind-the-scenes logistics.
Guidance from GUVI’s leadership team played a crucial role. Arun Prakash, CEO of GUVI, and S.P. Balamurugan, GUVI’s co-founder, provided the strategic vision that shaped the program. Anitha Sathish, COO of GUVI, ensured the sessions adhered to GUVI’s high standards of quality, while Vasanth Vijayabaskar and Lakshmana Narayanan V contributed their expertise to enhance the program’s execution.
A Glimpse into the Future
Programs like these demonstrate GUVI’s commitment to ensuring students graduate with the skills they need to succeed. The collaboration with Audisankara University stands as a testament to what can be achieved when innovative teaching methods meet eager learners.
As GUVI expands its Campus to Corporate initiative, the goal remains clear: to turn theoretical knowledge into practical skills that students can carry confidently into their careers. With initiatives like these, GUVI continues to pave the way for a new generation of tech-ready professionals.
