GUVI IPL CONTEST - Terms & Conditions

This document outlines the rules and guidelines for participation in the GUVI IPL Contest, as well as the terms associated with the prizes and arrangements for the winners. Please carefully read and understand the following terms before participating in the contest. By entering the contest, participants agree to abide by these terms and conditions. GUVI reserves the right to modify or amend these terms at any time without prior notice. Please visit the Contest page link for further details on the contest.

Contest Workflow

Participants must follow the outlined steps to be eligible for the contest.

How to Apply?

After successful registration in the GUVI IPL contest, finish the ‘UI UX Design with Figma’ course in your preferred native language & Design a Cricket Scoreboard Project using Figma (UI/UX).

Share your course completion certificate on the LinkedIn & Figma Project link along with a 200-word caption describing your project and what you learnt from GUVI’s course.

Use the designated contest hashtag #IPLWithGUVI and tag GUVI while posting your LinkedIn post.

Social Media Participation & Eligibility

Participants must post their course completion certificate on the LinkedIn & Figma Project link, along with a 200-word caption describing their project and what they learnt from GUVI’s course, and tag ‘GUVI Geek Networks, IITM Research Park’ on LinkedIn with the hashtag #IPLWithGUVI.

Hashtags and tagging are mandatory to be eligible for the Contest.

The post must be set to ‘Public’.

Participants who completed the GUVI’s Skill-A-Thon (APSSDC) can directly enter the IPL Contest by creating a Cricket Scoreboard project using Figma. You must share your Figma Project link on LinkedIn with a 200-word caption about your project and Skill-A-Thon learnings, including the hashtag #IPLWithGUVI. If the participant does not include their Figma Project link in LinkedIn post description, then such participant is not eligible to win free tickets to watch an exciting IPL match at Stadium with team GUVI.

If the participant does not complete the upload certificate step at the previous step, then such participant is not eligible to win free tickets to watch an exciting IPL match at Stadium with team GUVI.

The post will be tracked only on LinkedIn. Feel free to share on Instagram, Twitter, or other social media platforms, but remember, only entries on LinkedIn will be considered eligible for the contest.

5 Lucky winners will be selected based on the best entries.

Special Guidelines for GUVI’s Skill-A-Thon (APSSDC) Participants

Please note that the APSSDC Skill-A-Thon and GUVI's IPL Contest are two mutually exclusive events and not related to each other. It is completely optional for the learners of the Skill-A-Thon to participate in this contest.

If you’re a Skill-A-Thon participant who’d still like to participate in the IPL contest, please proceed further. If not, please feel free to exit this page.

Now, if you have already completed GUVI’s Skill-A-Thon (APSSDC), we have a concession for you. You can skip the course requirement and directly proceed with project development to enter the contest.

For the project, you’ll need to design a cricket scoreboard using Figma. Click here for Cricket Scoreboard project details.

Once completed, share your project link on LinkedIn with a 200-word description of the project. Don’t forget to tag ‘GUVI Geek Networks, IITM Research Park’ and use the hashtag #IPLWithGUVI.

Please note that the IPL Contest is completely optional for you. Participation in the Contest does not affect your Skill-A-Thon (APSSDC) participation.

Announcement of Winners

The winners of GUVI IPL CONTEST will be announced on 13th May 2024.

Claim of Prizes

The winners will receive travel arrangements, including flights and hotel accommodations, to attend an IPL match with the GUVI team at the stadium. The winners will be distributed with physical tickets from a GUVI representative on the day of the match from the stadium after verifying the ID proof.

Disclaimer

Incase stadium tickets are unavailable, winners will be invited to join the GUVI team at a designated Fan Park to watch the match.

Conditions Apply

GUVI will make every effort to secure stadium tickets for the winners. However, in the event that stadium tickets are not available, winners will be accommodated at a Fan Park. Winners are expected to respond promptly to notifications regarding prize arrangements to facilitate the booking of flight and hotel tickets. Failure to respond in a timely manner may result in forfeiture of the prize and GUVI might select the next set of winners.

Participate in the Contest
